TripAdvisor says British travelers are determined 15th January 2011
When it comes to holiday planning for 2011 the Brits are pretty much unshakeable, dusting off the impact that natural disasters such as earthquakes might have been expected to have had on the national psyche.
Despite a tripling of such events in 2010, a survey by TripAdvisor found only 6 percent of British travelers felt these were of sufficient concern to affect their future travel plans. However, 15 percent were reportedly anxious that 'volcanic ash', a travel issue that caused flight chaos in 2010, would disrupt their 2011 holidays.
During that 'crisis' guests staying with Club La Costa Resorts & Hotels received excellent care with offers of free accommodation - repeated when strike action at Spanish airports caused flight cancellations and heavy December snow blocked UK roads preventing journeys home - and assistance with securing onward passage
