Timeshare gets the thumbs up - Customer Survey

Satisfaction rates among timeshare owners continue to be high, according to a recently published industry report.

The European Timeshare Industry 2008, a comprehensive study authored by The Christel DeHaan Tourism & Travel Research Institute, University of Nottingham, UK*, reported as part of their findings that:

• 86.6 percent of owners were satisfied with their timeshare holiday
• Of these more than half, 55.6 percent, were 'very satisfied' and overall only 3.8 percent said they were actually dissatisfied.
• 73 percent felt their accommodation was better than other self-catering holidays they had taken, with just over half saying it was 'much better'.

These latest statistics further corroborate the high satisfaction levels reported in previous studies of the industry. Timeshare has grown substantially since the 1960s and in so doing has attracted a satisfied and loyal clientele.
